Do not pull too hard or it will tear some of the fur from the animal. These may be beatup or well played with by children and pets.
Ok now it is time to fix the fur on the stuffed animal. Some stuffed animals have very nice and fluffy fur. A regular hairbrush can be used but it should have soft widespread bristles. Then simply sew the new fur in place with a proper colored thread.

You have your piece of fake fur ready. Then use the piece for a template to cut the new fur into the needed shape. You should never ever put them in a dryer. Once a stuffed animal is dried fluff up the fur gently with a brush.
All you need is some patience and a little work and you can make your stuffed animals fluffy again. Sometimes you may have a dirty plush that you wanted to clean. The synthetic material will become brittle and even more matted the fur fibers may even melt. With some simple fur brushing and some some tape you can refluff and bring new life into an old stuffed toy.
Machine wash your faux fur sparingly just a few times per year as a rule of thumb. The extreme heat of the dryer melts the synthetic fur of a stuffed animal vest or faux fur hood turning it into a matted mess once you remove it. Do not bring your faux fur to the dry cleaner as dry cleaning chemicals may reduce the material s softness potentially leading to matting and tufting. As you can see in the video the hair when they stand is all matted and looks horrible.
